The TMCMS works with the WSMA to promote policies that benefit physicians and patients in Thurston and Mason Counties and all of Washington State.
Most of our legislative activities begin with our members. Each year, the TMCMS sends delegates to the WSMA annual meeting. At that meeting, delegates introduce, debate, and vote on resolutions. The resolutions that are adopted form the policies and legislative agenda for the state medical society.
The TMCMS board invites you to contact us with any issues that you would like to see addressed legislatively. We will work with you to draft an appropriate resolution.
